Meet the gods and goddesses

Meet the gods and goddesses! The show was absolutely fabulous. I give it a 10 because it seemed so realistic gods and goddesses. Today, May 23, 2010, we are going to preform again! So fun! I was Gaia, the mother earth, and it went on and on. I kind of memorized it, too! MY back hurted, but it did not really hurt alot. I hope we could do it again and again!

Friending

I think Rob will ask to be friends with Sistine because I think Rob will show Sistine the tiger and Ask Sistine to be his friend. I think it will take  a long time to be friends because they might get into a fight and brake up, and things like that. Because there is a girl that is riding a tiger in the cover, and a boy watching her. I think the girl is Sistine and the boy is Rob. 

A-Z Mysteries the X-ed out Xray.

I read the book, The X- ed out xray. The main characters in the book are Dink, Josh, and

 Ruth Rose. Dink brakes his arm in the Penguin concert. But the singer was autographing a person. Then suddenly, the person grabbed her precious penguin necklace and ran away. 

The Thing I should have listened.

The thing I think I should have listened in April was when I just ignored my mom when she said that the cookies were all hot and I should eat them after few minutes, and  I just ate them and kind of burned my tongue. Ouch!! I  try not to ignore people, but I can't really help it. Everyone can't help it.^^ 

But however, the thing when I did a great choice was when Dad said that he will get me a Smart Phone (Korean) when I am in 6th grade, and I can use a chocolate phone now, I said yes! 

How the author ENGAGED me

I read the book, Tiger Rising. The author engaged me by using so strong words, and idioms. I only read chapter 1-2 and I really want to read chapter 3. My favorite sentence is "The bullies were like a guard dog not fed for a long time." because you all know a guard dog, it guards a place, and it is very negative and mean, but if the dog is hungry, he will be wanting to bite you. I think the author described the mean bullies as the negative guard dog. Can't you just picture the nasty bullies waiting for Rob to come out? Oh yes, and Rob is a boy in this book. his mother died and his dad slapped him when he was crying because of it. He is a poor little guy.

The Tiger Rising

My prediction for the Tiger Rising by Kate Di Camillo is that it's genre is  fantasy because on the book cover,  there is a girl and a boy that is riding a tiger and it isn't real. Plus, a tiger won't like that, and people can't ride tigers. I think the book is about this girl and boy that is riding a tiger since again, on the book title, there is a tiger and a girl and a boy are riding the tiger. And I think the tiger is fairly kind and generous since it is letting the children ride on its back. The girl and the boy I think however, are not that looking scared when they are riding the tiger. I think the author wrote this book because she wanted people to be friends for each other.
